be similar with 是某人对什么很熟悉 ,是主动

be similar to sth/sb

be similar to 是某物为某人所熟知,与...相似 , 是被动

My problems are similar to yours. 我的问题与你的类似。 

Wasps look similar to bees. 黄蜂看上去很像蜜蜂。

I have no similar with Tom. 汤姆和我毫无共同之处
